Rema Set to Perform Again in Kigali

Five years after his last performance in Rwanda, Rema’s return has sparked excitement among music lovers who are already looking forward to seeing him back on stage. Tickets for the concert have started selling as fans prepare to see the artist known for hit songs such as “Calm Down,” “Dumebi,” “Charm,” “Bounce,” “Woman” and “Soweto.”

“Calm Down,” one of the songs that helped Rema gain international recognition, is among the tracks fans will be hoping to hear during his performance in Kigali, with many already anticipating the songs he will bring to the stage.

This year, Rema has continued to perform in different parts of the world, appearing at major music events in Europe and other regions and further cementing his position as one of Afrobeats’ biggest artists.

Rema will also not be performing in Kigali for the first time. This will be his second time entertaining Rwandan fans, making his return even more anticipated by those who have been waiting to see him perform in the country again.

He will headline the concert alongside Rwandan artists, including Kivumbi King.

The Kwita Izina concert will take place on September 5 at BK Arena, following the Gorilla Naming Ceremony scheduled for September 4 in Kinigi. Fans of Rema now have only the days to count before they see him back on stage in Kigali, with the concert expected to be one of the major entertainment events of the year.
