Rwandan Singer Bwiza Legally Marries Her Manager Jean Claude Uhujimfura.
Rwandan singer Bwiza Emerance has legally married Jean Claude Uhujimfura, the head of KIKAC Music, the company that manages her music career.
The couple exchanged vows in a civil ceremony on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Kimihurura Sector offices in Gasabo District, Kigali.
News of their marriage had been circulating among entertainment followers for several days before the couple confirmed that they had officially married and committed to living together as husband and wife.
Bwiza and Uhujimfura took the step after working closely together for five years. Their professional relationship began in 2021, when Bwiza entered the music industry.
Their marriage comes two months after the pair travelled to Europe in August 2026 to celebrate Bwiza’s birthday. Reports indicate that they made the decision to spend their lives together during that trip.
The couple has also reportedly agreed on dates for other wedding celebrations, although they have not yet announced them publicly.
The marriage comes as Bwiza prepares for a concert in Lusaka, Zambia, scheduled for November 28, 2026, where she is expected to perform alongside Bruce Melodie.
Bwiza is among Rwanda’s female artists who have established themselves in the country’s music scene within a few years of pursuing music professionally.
She rose to prominence in 2021 after winning The Next Diva – Indi Mbuto, a competition organised by KIKAC Music. The victory gave her an opportunity to sign a professional music contract and launch her career.
She later released an EP titled Connect Me and went on to put out several popular songs, including Ahazaza, Warubizi and Wibeshya.
Throughout her career, Bwiza has participated in major music events and performances, including the Trace Awards. She has also released albums such as My Dream and 25 Shades, which she unveiled in Belgium.
She is currently preparing to release her third album, Home, which she plans to launch at a concert in Lusaka, Zambia, on November 28, 2026.
