RwandAir Suspends Kigali–Nairobi Flights
RwandAir has suspended some of its flights connecting Kigali and Nairobi following operational challenges affecting air traffic control services at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
On Monday, August 31, 2026, RwandAir announced the suspension of flights WB452 and WB453 due to the challenges affecting flight operations at the Nairobi airport.
The suspension has affected passengers who were scheduled to travel from Kigali to Nairobi as well as those travelling from Nairobi to Kigali. Passengers affected by the changes have been advised to continue following updates from RwandAir regarding changes to their travel arrangements.
RwandAir said it is working with the relevant authorities to monitor the situation and find a way forward. The airline also said it would continue providing passengers with updates as more information becomes available.
The airline apologized to passengers for the inconvenience and disruption caused by the suspension.
